Anyone advise whether to omen of whittling this xbow?

I know nothing of crossbows, or crossbow builds. It would whittle off the 5 life on hit. I don't know if thats a useful mod. If its completely useless i would omen it off.

Any xbow experts here? :D

I'm no xbow user but that mod is the worst one there and 5 hp per hit doesn't seem like much at all. Also, whittle omen works a bit different than what I thought. It's not necessarily lowest tier affix on item but the lowest ilv when that affix and tier can appear. Kinda weird. I am yet to use one.
