If I use the Shadow Shaping atlas node as a ban list...

Say a map would drop as one of the "banned" maps. Does the map just not drop at all, or does it "become" something else?

I'm not even sure how anyone would know the answer to this outside of data mining, lol. But I'm wondering if I'm just needlessly losing out on maps I could Horizon into something else, or if I'm SAVING myself having to Horizon some maps that I don't want to play.

The "connected maps" for sure are rolled into "something else".

From wiki: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Shadow_Shaping
"
Shadow Shaping can be used in several ways:

- The player can pick between two connected maps and favourite all other connected maps, stacking passives with #% chance for one Monster in each of your Maps to drop an additional connected Map and Shaping the World. This grants a high chance of dropping the connected map. Map Bosses also have a natural chance to drop a connected map, and can be further enhanced with Destructive Play.

For the other maps, even if they are "nullified" (which we don't know for sure), you don't lose that many maps - 12/115 is about 10% of the non-connected maps.

Thank you! That works for me. A nice ban list indeed.

Goodbye Pits, Academy, and Crystal Ore!
