Kingsmarch - Shipments not Getting Paid (SOLVED)

I filled the "Port Quotas" as much as I could and then started shipping whatever I had to the nearest port (resources for which the port had no quotas)
it looked like everything was working (showed "shipment value", sailed off, and after a while returned empty).
all the resources I had shipped were gone, rewards were there, but no gold appeared in my coffers - bug? or am I missing something?

Port Quotas make shipments that contribute to the quota count for rewards as though you sent more than you did, and completely fulfilling the quota rewards a unique item.

Port Quotas do not provide a gold return. The only time you get gold from doing shipments, is when pirates take your ship and demand a ransom, and you fight+kill the boss.

thx for replying, and, now I'm confused - I was under the impression that when I was shipping and fulfilling port quotas earlier I received gold (the "shipment value" I presumed).
I don't see where else my gold could've come from - the small amounts one finds in maps can't add up to 100s of thousands, can they?

There is no gold in shipments. You wont get gold from ships. Only currency and stuff.

And yes when you do maps all that gols you pick up adds to bigger numbers. It requires time and attention.
