should i buy the game on steam or the website

Hello, I read on the net that we can keep things that we have already bought on the first game like chests so I wonder if I should buy on steam or on the website so that my profile is linked to the game

I bought PoE2 on steam, (Already had PoE1 on steam/linked), and I got all my stash tabs and MTX's on PoE2.
(The mtx's and tabs that currently work on PoE2, not everything is implemented yet) I think maybe it just gives you a key and you log into your account on website and type in the key, don't remember what I did. Last edited by Tumulten#3988 on Feb 3, 2025, 6:28:23 AM

Well if you buy it on the website you get a key for steam too anyway, so you can play on epiclauncher too for the same key(if bought on the site).
If the accounts are linked, then it doesn't matter where you buy it. |
