Doryani post death keeps attacking. Is this working as intended?

It's not the first time i've faced Doryani as Pinnacle Boss but this never happened before. I don't understand if it is intended (the lightning that keeps attacking even after death).

For contest i stopped to loot because i thought it was just a visual effect, but apperently it is not, since i died after the shock proc.

I died this way too and lost a lot of progress. This should be patched asap.
