No interest in PoE 2 until it's finished, now also done with PoE1 apparently.

So, long time player here. I joined during Beta of 2013. I've played almost every single league since then and spent a very considerable amount of money on the game.

I have no interest in PoE2 right now. I'm not interested in playing a game that should still be in Beta and is incomplete. I've been waiting patiently for the 3.26 which we've been waiting for since Settlers essentially ended in October.

It's been a long time and I'm now tired of waiting. There are a plethora of other games that I can spend my time and money on. I've been incredibly faithful to GGG and Path of Exile for almost 12 years. I've brought friends and family in to the game and as a New Zealand citizen, I've been extremely proud of it.

However, it is clear that the company is no longer the same. With Ten Cent subsidiaries now owning 100% of the company shares, Erik gone on to manage Sorcery (fantastic card game by the way) and Chris having left, the only person who was around in the beginning is Jonathan. I do not trust him and I do not believe that he cares one bit about PoE1.

Thus, here we are. It has been an incredible ride and I can honestly say that Path of Exile is the best game I've ever played. I do not regret having it as my main game for the past 12 years and I can say I honestly did get my moneys worth. But I wont be spending more money on it and I certainly wont be waiting around to see what happens.

I'll be burying my PoE links deep in my browser folders for a few months. Out of sight, out of mind. Maybe something good will happen when I check back in. I won't be touching PoE 2 with a ten foot pole for a long while unless they add FOMO rewards to the pre-alpha game they released.
