Cannot Create Character on POE 2 Beta Ps5

I was just awarded POE 2 from the Stars Rewards Program via PlayStation 5. Was able to download and get to the Character Creation screen where you choose your class. However I am unable to get passed the Character Naming as I cannot press X to play and it forces me to have a character 2 as well. Despite having a 2nd controller used as a P2. I still cannot get past the naming character to start the game. I was under the impression that I had the full version from the Stars Reward Purchase. But perhaps, I was wrong? The Class I chose was the Mercenary.

Can someone confirm if they can recreate the same problem? Or are the Beta servers down? The time of this post is 2/1/2025 8:36pm est. NA servers.
