Atlas disapearing bug

If I go back to the starting area, specifically the monolith. I lose access to the northern most of my Atlas map. I get an unloaded grey block terrain cut off and cannot move the cursor further north.

Last time I fixed this by running a map as far north as I could. When the map reloaded, I had my original map back

Exit to character selection then back in usually fixes those atlas bugs.
