first day ive seen poe 2 not in top 5 on steam.
i think the waiting to make changes to classes without doing an econ reset is a poor choice. and is frustrating the player base. i know that i played close to 550hrs and then there was so little in terms of meaningful changes in that first update that i have not played since.
at bare minimum there should be mtx items unlocked every week. Last bumped on Feb 1, 2025, 9:09:57 PM

That's like 8 or 9 hours a day on average since launch.
I think it's okay to take a little break. |

This game failed to completely take over and ruin my life.
Please fix it. | |
The biggest problem is the complete lack of communication. It's been 2 months and we essentially haven't heard anything about anything. They've done one very brief set of interviews that was essentially non-answers on every question that provided no information at all. Can we get a roadmap? Regular updates? What is the plan?
This is early access for gods sake and they aren't even putting out bugfixes at regular intervals. Just what in the actual hell are they spending their time doing? Do they not understand what early access is for? Why on earth would you wait months between updates and bug fixes, knowing that the bug fix will almost certainly come with bugs itself? They are treating this game like it's released and we're on a regular league schedule where they can dump a patch and disappear for months at a time and have everything work out. It's complete insanity, especially since GGG has essentially shut down PoE1 to do... whatever it is they are doing right now, which seems to be nothing. The loot in the game is just awful. 99.99% of drops are garbage that aren't even worth exalting, yet exalts are raining from the sky. That's why their value keeps plummeting.
Uniques are universally terrible except the insanely rare ones that only 1% of the population will find each league. As a result, the only exciting loot drop in the entire game is Divine Orbs, and that's only because they hold value on an external trading website. So we have a looter ARPG with no exciting loot. Not sure how long they expect people to keep playing when there's no carrot on the end of the stick. Last edited by Blasphemous84#2190 on Feb 1, 2025, 1:53:28 PM

You don't like that light radius?
|

" I tend to lean 15% reduced attribute requirements but light radius is a great choice, can't go wrong there. Loving that all this loot I'm chasing from waystones is guaranteed useless vendor trash. Who plays an ARPG for loot anyways? It's all about getting that rapidly inflating currency. God what a rush. |

" Agreed. Would love to see a roadmap, even if the dates are stretched way out for years. I'd just like to know what the plan is for now? Obviously they are adding 3 more acts, and some weapons, and some classes. But what are they actually working on in the near future? And are they planning on overhauling some of the systems in the game already? |

3.26 when?
|

" You can tell a lot by looking right at someone's eyes while they are talking. Go back and watch the "Please go play PoE2 you PoE1 Scrubs!!" video. IMHO Jonathan's eyes are saying Never! And please stop asking! |
