unable to connect to the server since the new patch download just happened via steam

Hi There

I was playing PoE2 today till 3PM Aus Melbourne time.

I was offline for 1 hour and turned steam back on at 4PM and new patch download happened.

since then I cannot pass my character selection page.

When acc is trying to join game play page it just crashes.

please investigate
