Soul eater is eating my soul IRL

Been playing for 3000 hours now, couple years of leagues under my belt, I'm on my most successful character to date, and one soul eater mob easily ganks me repeatedly. They really need to be looked at in terms of power gain, especially in higher tier content, and made much more visible as you get close if the mod is to remain in the game. Perhaps an icon like the immortal shrine effect on some rares.

What are other people's experiences with the power of SOUL EATER?

For me it's been especially egregious in delve where the mob quickly (and often quietly) becomes a horror movie villain chasing me to the end and then one shots me lol.

The visibility are those orange "soul eating" lines. You may have to be "tuned" for them to properly notice them ASAP.

It depends a lot on the build. Builds with low/no attack avoidance are often particularly vulnerable. Most good/balanced builds can tank most of them.

They were far worse (in Delve) before the nerf. Post-nerf havent yet met an obligatory (end point, needs be killed) that I couldnt kill. On spawning nodes its clearly one of the worst mods though.
