Cant access my pc characters on ps5 and vise versa

I have been having a very hard time getting my PS characters on my PC and vice versa. I originally bound my PS account but POE site had my gmail and not my yahoo so I updated my playstation account to use my gmail instead and then rebound the POE to the playstation however I was still unable to access my playstation characters.
