End of Life plans?

It would be nice to hear some official End of Life plans from GGG, what is going to happen when they shut down the servers for PoE 1? Will the game just die? Do they want us all to move over to PoE 2?

Don't just say the servers will stay online forever, that is clearly a lie. You won't pay for servers if there is only one person playing PoE 1. so what can that one player do when you pull the plug?

if i remember correctly, someone from ggg said in an interview that it is quiet cheap to run death servers. i dont know where it was, my head said it was a q&a with ghazzy. no guarantee for that and if you find a mistake here, yes its a 2nd language for me.
