Does Shock Siphon Recover Mana With Eldritch Battery?

Just wondering. Theoretically it should since it converts all es to mana but I don't know if shock siphon considers the mana before of after eldritch. If its before it works if its after then it doesn't because you have no es.

If you have no ES (0/0), there's nothing Shock Siphon can recover.
