PoE 1 -

Long time PoE player and supporter. Played a lot of PoE 2, but am now coming back to PoE 1.

However, when I login and try to play my SSF Necro Settlers character. When I load up a map or temple. I get an "An unexpected disconnection occurred" every time I try to enter the instance.

The portal is NOT consumed. Not sure if that's helpful.

Another note. I have a work laptop with PoE 1 installed to. I tried it on that machine, from work in another city, and it still goes back to login screen with the same error when trying to enter instances.

I've also tried character in SSF and SSF Necro, so not just one character issues.

This makes me believe it's something with my account/characters, and not my machine/network/etc.

Things I have tried:
- Reinstalling PoE 1
- Switching lots of options (DX12, Vulkan, etc.)
- Checking PoE 1 files using PackCheck
- Trying many different gateways
- Removing all MTX
- Deselecting loot filters

Nothing works. I can login, I can go to campaign zones, I cannot join ANY instance.

Can anyone help or suggesting things I can try to resolve this?

UPDATE: New Details

I found that if you open your map from the Kirac Map Device at the end of acts, I can access instances. BUT, if I open them from hideout or guild hideout, the error happens no matter what.

Try changing to a different server location and see if that makes a difference. Which server do you normally login to?

I've tried all the US gateways.
