Unable to retry my trail of chaos (Act 3)

I attempted my act 3 trail of chaos and died to poison. No trying to go back and attempt to trail again i get the message "operation could not be completed" with the door still open from my last run and trying to go back in says the instance does not exist. i tried playing the game and progressing campaign and coming back but nothing has changed.

How do i fix this
