Does Altered Flesh Count as Damage Conversion?

How does this node interact with the Original Sin ring? If I took 100 cold damage would it all be turned into chaos damage or would it be 16.6 damage as fire and 83.3 chaos damage?

Altered Flesh doesn't have the 'Damage Conversion' tooltip, so does it not actually convert damage in the way that Original Sin does?
