Recoop as mana, questions

Are their diminishing returns or...

After 100% damage recouped, say I have 150%, would that essentially be making me heal 100% dmg taken, faster than over 4 seconds?
(I know it wont be making me heal 150% faster than over 4 seconds but if I'm trying to mitigate just 100% of the dmg I take (over time) and I have 150%, the extra 50% would technically be a time multiplier for 100% right?

If I had 200%, would be 100% (actually healed) over 2 seconds? Right?

How does this work with cooped as energy shield?

Say I take elemental damage, have zero energy shield. (using mana as life)

But then take elemental damage that heals 40% of the dmg as energy shield. Do I gain the 150% damage recouped AND the Energy shield recouped at the same time?

This is using everlasting gaze.

From my understanding, unless you have something that specifically says recoup happens faster (i.e. Recoup Rate), it will always be over 8 seconds.

For example, in a 150% recoup-as-health scenario, if you take 1000 damage, then over the next 8 seconds, you'll recover 1500 health. The type of damage doesn't matter, only what it gets recoup'd as.

The only thing of note should be that only hits allow for recoup, not damage over time. So going back to the example, if that 1000 damage was Fire and applied Ignite, then that initial 1000 damage will recoup 1500 health, but not the damage taken from the Ignite.

You're right, poe was 4 poe2 is 8

With that said, 200% recoop over 8 seconds would be 100% damage recooped over 4 right?

Taken from in-game, "When you take damage from a hit, Recoup causes you to recover an amount of the stated resource equal to a percentage of the damage you took over 8 seconds." Unless Recoup/Recovery Rate (i.e. the Pliable Flesh notable) is involved, it will always be over 8 seconds. Percentages over 100% do not make it go faster, only recover more over that duration.

So, ignoring other variables, 100% recoup applied to 1000 damage will recover 125 health/second. 200% recoup applied to 1000 damage will recover 250 health/second.
