Couch coop crap

Ok so after many hr my wife and I have reached maps but we can not use them bc for some reason the game puts player two as party leader and there is no way of changing this yes the game allows me to have people be able to choose but this still dose not work and even if player 2 who is some how party leader goes to the map and picks it switches to my controller and when I pick it says party leader must turn that on which I said was already on
Also I noticed that the map is the same as my single player character I play by my self it's the same Map now I get all 3 characters are under the same account bc that's the way u made the game but can u not som how in an opinion menu or ask us as soon as we reach endgame maps the option to choose a new map lay out only for the people like me who play 2 characters one solo and one with wife bc I was disappointed when it came up as my map with her just kinda made it seem very lack luster for us
So I don't know if u need to have us have two separate accounts login at the same 2 like d4 I had to go make a separate account for her it was easy but annoying I liked how I didn't have to do that in this game but now we can't even play this game anymore so ya plz fix bc there's no point in playing until this is fixed
