That PoE2 will actually never go free to play, why would they do that to themselves now that they have seen millions of people will not only pay the $30 entrance fee but will also buy microtransactions?

They have also killed all their goodwill with the f2p crowd by absolutely shitting on PoE1.

Honestly, what incentive do they have to make the game f2p in "full release"?

I think it will go F2P but I don't think it will do so on release. I think at least for the first league or two it will be $20-30. Then they'll start slowly dropping the price until it eventually goes F2P.
