A couple of thoughts... (PoE1&2)

Introduction
So, it's been some time since the release of PoE2 EA. And I love it, I really do! After the 0.1.1 patch it's even better!
But...

***Big cinematic horns***

Spoiler
Disclaimer
This is mostly my personal thoughts of what the games are lacking, most of the points is for both games, even if some are for PoE2 only, will try to make this clearer. Please discuss and come with things you want to see or not see. I might add it to the list. Thank you for reading!

Thoughts

- We need more zoom out levels for the Atlas, even if it zooms out to a globe it wont be enough.

- Ability to mute our character, chat events are still welcome but muting the monotonous, repetitive voice of my character should be a possibility, without affecting bosses speech.

- Where is the "Waypoints tab" (aka Map tab)?
Will we get it if we already have the map tab in PoE1? (We should, really)

- Orb of Scouring!

- Sort button for inventory!

- Filter for the Atlas, to search specific map names (suggested by skeletonfish#2315)

- Ability to read what the "things" on maps are, even if you don't have access to that particular map. I know them all by now, but I did not in the beginning.

- If I press alt while hovering an item I get extra information of that item. But if I hold alt and hover another item after; the first item is still shown. A fix here would be amazing. The tooltip should change to the next item being hovered. I love the ability to pin the tooltips though, great addition!

- Battle log, where is it? We need to know what killed us. It has been asked for since the release of PoE1!

- Strongboxes got an update with 0.1.1, but it did not do it, at least for lil ol' me. I still leave them be, I doubt I am alone in this. Remove the fog completely, speed up the spawn rate even more.

- Achievements, not Steam achivs but in-game, would be so fun to have, as a achievement hunter. Any news about it is welcome. I know 0.1.1 is still very early!

- Fix the Atlas bug show in this image

- API for devs, any info on this would be swell as well!
Would love to see poe2.ninja, they need the API to be able to do their thing. I can wait though. I understand it is a huge project to get "finished".

- Any news on the new PoE1 season? Anything even if small.

- Are there any chance that PoE1 will get WASD-movement? I know this is a huge thing and I get it if the answer is "no", it's a fair question though.
PoE1 would get more players from PoE2 with this addition, easy.
I hope this will happen but I am fine if it does not.
Got 4 irl friends who tried PoE1 slightly some years ago who say they will give it a real shot if WASD-movement is added. They all have 85+ characters in PoE2.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have so much more to point out, somehow I got a stroke at the time I started this thread, but I will update, no worries!
Saving next post for more!

Sounds good.

They stated in their last interview that it is coming, but they want to get it right the first time. A map tab is a harder thing to tackle than most people think.

"
- Orb of Scouring!

Orb of Scouring is just an Alteration Orb with extra steps. They want to keep re-rolling bases out of the game to keep ground loot relevant and people out mapping and not just buying currency and playing hideout simulator.

"
- Sort button!!!

This goes along the lines of auto-loot, and while some ARPGs do this, it ultimately comes down to what the game is, and this game leans towards less a hand-holdy playstyle where not every system is tailored for your convenience, I'm okay with manually sorting loot in my inventory. There are also affinities with stash tabs already.

"
- Did I mention Waypoint tab?

Yes, you did. I gave my response above

Have a great day.

As far as map atlas, we need filter on the maps, it's next to impossible to find the maps you want

Yeah I do know this, just think it has been very silent since the data breach, from being really transparent to absolute silence. I understand the work it takes to get things just right and I respect that.

Most of the loot is irrelevant in absolute endgame, there can be some bases you find that you roll and end up with crap, then you can chaos or divine the item like hell and still not get anything out of it. You can't re-roll mods on magic items at all so you need to go out and farm again for that one base you want to be able to min/max fully. It's not only time consuming, it is tedious.
A scour orb that only drops in citadels for example would be fine. Like div rarity.

Sure, I get this too, it's still rather annoying to move around a bunch of 1x1 currency to get that 2x3 in your bag. Could be an idea to mark certain slots for 1x1 items. I would love to see them at the bottom for example. I am not talking about auto-sorting either, that the bag sorts itself as soon as an item is looted. I mean a button that makes the best out of the space that is left. Would even be handy in the tabs, but I get that is "hand-holdy", even more than affinities.

Example of annoying inventory.

Example of how it could be sorted with a click of a button:

Have a nice one guys!
