Supporter Pack hideouts can only be gifted to either PoE 1 guild or PoE 2 guild

It turns out that if you gift a supporter pack hideout to a guild on Poe 1, you lose out on gifting it to a guild in PoE 2. I saw the warning that it can only be gifted once, but I assumed that with PoE 1 purchases transferring across to PoE 2 largely, you'd be only able to gift to one guild in both games, which I would have been fine with.

Me and my group were intending to only play on PoE 2, but many of us decided to go play on PoE 1 while waiting for PoE 2 to be more developed, and I decided to gift my Beacon of Salvation hideout to our PoE 1 guild since that's where most of us are currently spending our time. Because of that, I can no longer gift the hideout to our PoE 2 guild.

Is there any chance that we'll be able to gift once per game? I know there's a lot of other benefits to buying the liberator pack, but it's a steep price to use once and have to pick what game to enjoy that particular benefit on.

TL,DR; If you gift a PoE 2 supporter pack hideout to a guild in PoE 1, you lose out on gifting it in PoE 2, even though you can use the hideout personally in both. Will this change?
