Path of Exile new league when?

I don't want to call it PoE1, because there's only 1 PoE.

I'm just sad. When can we have fun again on a new league?

Of course there is only one PoE in the mind of GGG Tencent : they sold multiple millions of EA copies already & got better numbers so far than HellDivers 2 did . The game is a money printing machine , Tencent execs are going to milk it to the last drop .

That's the problem with the current lack of management in this developer. You have to do something with this influx of players and a decent roadmap where you mix releases of PoE1 and PoE2 leagues would bring a lot of players to PoE1 as well as they are now hooked to PoE. You can sell a lot of MTX to further fund both games and in the meantime buy time to develop next big PoE2 update.

GGG however decides to pass off everyone not giving an update about both games not showing any roadmap. Any other game developer would be flamed but due to PoE1 they got some respect still. But they lose credibility day by day.

Poe is going the blizzard way. Support the thing that makes the most money regardless of quality of the game. I might never buy support pack again.
We wont from one the best leagues ever for me (settlers) to this.

Guys, relax. Everyone wants a new league, but PoE 2 is obviously the focus during these first months of Early Access. They already said that when the game officialy releases, they will do new leagues for each game in the same rhythm as ever: Every 3 months.

This league during this much is the exception, not the rule. Second week of february will make 3 months since PoE 2 release, so we can expect news about the roadmap. GGG have a lot of problems, but they are really open about the dev state of their games and whats happening inside the company.

I know its frustrating the lack of attention PoE 1 is receiving, but we also should be happy that our favorite game received so much attention and new players.

If the new league comes lacking in quality and/or content then we can critique GGG and say that they abandoned PoE 1.

They promised that PoE2 wouldn't affect PoE1 yet they force their loyal playerbase to either play a league of more then 6 months or an Alpha PoE2 playtest with no endgame. In the meantime they refuse to give any updates on a potential next PoE1 league or a PoE2 development roadmap. I don't see any honesty in their communication. Till now it was all a lie.
