Crashes related to Nvidia???

I have a full AMD build and have no issues with the game, my brother using AMD also has no issues, but my wife has Intel+Nvidia. After playing for a few hours her game crashed locking up her entire pc. We tried some troubleshooting (updated drivers and all that) ran it as admin and got her playing for a while longer put it eventually crashed again. I've been searching for a solution the last few days now and have noticed that pretty much EVERY thread about crashes just like this involves an Nvidia gpu. I know that there is a known issue with POE2 where Nvidia's default profile mistakenly associates Path of Exile 2 with the profile for Path of Exile 1 so is it possible that the reverse is happening also??

Am I paranoid here or does Nvidia seem to be the problem???

Not sure of your exact problem since there isn't any real technical data posted.

However, there is a planned NVIDIA driver release planned at the same time as the 50 series NVIDIA GPU launch on or around the 30th of January 2025.

PoE 2 is referenced in these posts and the hotfix... but as everyone should know, this only pertains to an NVIDIA issue and not Windows 24H2 Issues, TDR, MPO Disabling, Overlay Issues, HDR Issues, and Monitoring Software Settings. Most of these are covered or referenced in some of these posts.

I'd recommend reading the posts along with some of the main top comments describing the issues and some workarounds.

There are many small notes about all the reported issues and adjustments to mitigate stuttering, black screens, and some crashing throughout the main post.
