My Early Access Key to Path of Exile 2 Disappeared! 300+ Hours Played, Now It Says "Buy a Key"?


Hey everyone, I’ve already spent over 300 hours in Path of Exile 2, and I have an 82 Monk plus a Mercenary with gear worth around 200 Divines. I bought my Early Access key back in December and have been playing without issues—until today. Suddenly, the game tells me I need to purchase another Early Access key to continue. This makes no sense!

What’s even more confusing is that I didn’t receive any email on my account or any official notification about a ban or suspension—nothing from the game’s website or in my personal inbox. My old key just seems to have vanished, and now I’m locked out of the game, despite my characters still existing. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what’s going on or how to fix it?

Did you buy your key from a 3rd party provider like Kinguin or did you buy it through the official shop?

If you obtained your early access through purchasing one of the Early Access packs, please also include the transaction ID of the purchase. This can usually be found alongside your receipt of payment provided to you by the payment processor you used.

If you obtained your early access by redeeming a key, then the key's status may have been revoked if the original purchase was refunded or charged back. If this is the case, you may want to reach out to whoever you received the key from to check with them regarding the validity of your key.
