Respect reverting after confirming changes

As the title says. After respec and confirming changes, it reverts back to the original specs when I change instances or log out and log back in on my mercenary. Very annoying. It makes the confirmation sound when clicking confirm changes, but it doesn't look like anything changes, I.e. attributes don't change. The the node changes appear to be done after I close out of the respect screen. Even when I go back in to look at the passive tree from the character menu. However, as I said, when I enter a different instance or log out and log back in everything is reverted.
