Eldritch Battery: wrong amount of mana

Hey,

I've been using EB for a while and just spent a skill point on Energy Shield (15% increased maximum energy shield). I have 1009 mana points.

I expected that the mana amount would by increased by the ES surplus but it didn't happen.
I even respec the EB and the ES nodes, then first selected the increased ES and only after that selected EB. I'm having 559 ES and 567 MP, but after selecting EB the amount of mana stayed 1009, which doesn't add up.

The EB tolltop says that it "Converts ALL energy shield to mana" but seems like this is not the case.

Indeed, in PoE2, EB Converts all ES to mana.

Conversion does not work in PoE2 the way that it works in PoE1. You can hover over the keyword "Converts" for an in-game explanation of this.

Stats and Damage that are converted are only affected by increases/reductions/more/less to the final stat, not ones that affect the stat/damage they originally were. When EB converts your ES to mana, "%increased ES" modifiers do nothing for you because you have no ES--unless you convert a different stat into ES, such as with Ghostwrithe or The Everlasting Gaze.
