INSTANT BUYOUTS

Hi all, love this game but left because I dont want to do any of the trade interactions. Also blocked all poe2 commentators b/c they bad as the d4 ones now. Anyone heard any news of ggg adding instant buyouts yet?

Sadly, instant buyouts will only help pricefixers and those with enough currency to crash markets. A true auction-style option would be better. Or offline trading similar to poe1.

Just kinda my two cents. I do agree current iteration of trading is very sluggish and unintuitive. It definitely needs an overhaul. Something in-game anf more stream-lined.

One of the core problem of current trading system is that bots can scan market non-stop, finding good items with low prices, purchasing them and flipping for much higher prices. This basically kills the idea of fair trade in the game. You either have to buy cheap trash or to buy overpriced good items. This also opens a lot of opportunities for market manipulation, rmt and so on.

Instant buyouts won't help the deal(or make it even worse). I fully agree that we need some sort of auction house to make deals without direct participation of a vendor. Even more, I think we need some sort of legal mechanism which scans market for us with given parameters and informs us when proper item is avaliable for sale. Ofcourse, it should have limits, so players don't overload servers with 100+ requrests of items they are looking for.

Items in auction house should have starting price, vendoring period and buyout. It will allow people to compete for item in bets during vendoring period or buy item right away(for high price) if they like. It will also help newer players to avoid selling good items way too cheap. On the other hand, it won't let bots to sweep the market or certain people to manipulate whole economy.

Trade is one of aspects I like in games most. But on POE it makes me vomit and I want to drop the game every time I need an upgrade of my equipment. I play since 2013 and rate PoE as one of best arpg of all times. Yet I don't understand why we still have such ancient and lame way to trade.

GGG doesn't allow rmt, yet no one wants to fight bots in either way, allowing them to ruin gameplay for real people and doing same old rmt. So uhh.. you don't want rmt in your game, yet you make trading system which favours rmt. Sounds really dumb. I know, it is barely possible to track and ban all the bots, but you can change trading systems and put them in a huge disadvantage(which will lead to less bots, less rmt and more happy players).

I believe this game is going to lose a big chunk of playerbase if trading system/bot problem doesn't get fixed. It would be a shame to put years of work into a game that no one wants to play because of bots and polluted economy.

trade board in PoE 1 console works great. just needed Instant buy out to of been perfect.
people don't want instant buy outs. then it would be the same as it was then and never get any responses waiting on trade for days. Thats if it even gets accepted at all.

GGG should implant the trade board / Ah with instant buy out for at least a test run before full release. If people like it work around it.

Yeah I love trading on xbox. Actually, I left PC specifically for that. I can leave the xbox on during the day and sell everything off while im at work.

Do, I thought the idea was to have a gold cost like the currency exchange. Wouldn't that stop the bots?
