poe2 vs HDR question

Should I care about HDR when upgrading my gear? I've heard mixed opinions on how well HDR is implemented here.

is the HDR some secret kabal topic? am i going to get 'accidented' soon? so the sweet release of death is finally approaching. I had a good run after all no complaints, just didn't expect to go out like this, but any way is fine as long as i don't suffer. goodbye ya'all! at least i got to play poe2! |

If you're buying a new gaming computer in 2025 and you're not getting HDR you're doing it wrong.
That said, HDR in PoE 2 looks to be broken right now, or at least very poorly done. It makes the game look very dull. However, if you have an HDR-compatible computer and Windows 11, when you disable HDR PoE 1 and 2 use automatic HDR upscaling, which looks nice. |
