This is absolutely ridiculous and leaves POE2 "Crafting" Completely out of reach from everyone but only the richest of the rich players.
And keep in mind, You might use the Omen of Whittling and then immediately get a crappy stat on your item, leading you to either need to use another one or just consider your item bricked. Is this what the dev's intended? Last bumped on Jan 27, 2025, 2:11:30 AM

Honestly, for a game where you could possibly be enjoying many different classes they sure do like to restrict the potential of you "completing" one of them.
I really think GGG need to firmly remember that they're expanding from POE1 and making a much more fun project that focuses more on gameplay and increasing build diversity instead of focusing so hard on pigeon holing players into certain specializations because they simply can't craft any stats they would like to... |

my take os the dex/sin omens that make chaos target prefix/suffix should be a lot more common to make crafting on looted rares have some level of agency for normal players. a LOT more common.
the combo of these omns with wits are too strong, making them a LOT more common would be problematic if you dont severely nerf wits. so id make wits, i dunno, maybe 1/4 as rare as a mirror? so id make them more like 30,000 exalts each? somewhere around there sounds right. theyre too specific, they target an exact mod and its often the worst mod on the item. its a bit unhealthy, the pre/suh chaos one is a much better slightly target slightly gamba omen for regular players to be using. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
