Bad crafting holds back all grind purpose

Trans-mutating items is nothing nothing but a chore

Whats the point of Essences if they don't have "deterministic" stats from normal rarity other than to force you into a further grind loop

Exhibition and the shops from it are just lacking so much care for the user experience ("ye I wanna skip...oh that will cost me double trinkets, thank you so much!"). The belt/ring shop barely has options, you'd be super lucky to get an accessory in there!

I get to do a Shrine map, can't wait for one of the 10 or so omens to play with...oh there's none, another worthless experience that I can risk my EXP for because I'm almost dieing to a shredding whirlwind in the tightest of areas (exciting gameplay idea btw! bravo...).

I couldn't think of anything more boring than grinding tons of exalted/divine's for the preferred "crafting" method of trading, your game isn't THAT fun (Forced to use 2 unset rings to find gameplay diversity btw! Not enough mechanics by default!).
There should only be decent loot from players in there, not 100k+ of all sorts of rag tag loot from players all over the world, this isn't even an MMORPG and GGG don't even bother to put in a proper Auction House in their game.

Seriously though, I just don't see how anyone can enjoy the competitive/grind aspect of this game when its purely rng and a whole load of boring work rate. Make me care about the online experience or get rid of it, idea just make a solo self found character permanently SSF and buff that characters crafting potential to the high heavens so that the End Game experience feels like a genuine progression experience. I work night shifts sometimes 6 days a week, I have little time to be a happy and care free full time streamer who can show off my rn-jesus accomplishments!

I agree, in that end-game feels barren of purpose...as things are. Presumably, we are in "blank slate" mode, and entertaining goals that are worthy of grinding toward will begin to fill in the landscape over time.

I do have a serious concern though: The meta process of mapping has itself been turned into a grind. Navigation of the atlas is not fun, and appears to have intentionally been made inefficient when it comes to the player's time investment.

Ye indeed. As one example there are "continents" that are very close to each other but offer no pathing to each other...you just gotta mosey on around somehow which is especially infuriating if there are bonuses you've unlocked via tablet and maps you're fixated on for better loot bonuses via the terrain buff in atlas passives.
