How does Culling affect Overkill?

If a mob is at 30%, has 100 HP left, I hit it with a culling strike that does 50 damage. Did I do 50 points of Overkill or zero points of Overkill?

Cull is calculated before damage so I assume the enemy is dead before any Overkill damage can be inflicted.
