Skills / Spells are actualy boring ?

Am i the only one who thinks the spells and skills we currently have are actually generic and boring just like poe 1 ?

They dont feel ''impactfull'' i cant find a better word to describe what im feeling about them. Weak maybe ? Bland ?

I guess the monk's frost strike is okish but only becouse its doing nice aoe clear with the herald.

The rest is meh.
Its like the scene in Thor when he says im THE GOD OF THUNDER and procedes to sprakle out of his fingers..........

But i guess if they are making us play with auto attacks....
The skills compared to auto attacks are pog ??

I dont know.
