Steam DLC acquired post purchase have not been credited to my account - support
Initially I bought the cheapest EA supporter pack when the game was released to play the game (Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Pack).
Afterwards, I bought on the Steam Storefront the 2 other EA Supporter Packs available: Lord of Ogham Supporter Pack King of the Faridun Supporter Pack Just to be clear, this was not bought on the Microtransaction Shop inside the game as an upgrade, but directly on the Steam Storefront for POE2, as you would purchase any DLC on any other game (clicking on the DLC on the storefront, adding it to your cart and buying it). So, it was a purchase of the full packs, not an upgrade. Problem is, so far I have gotten nothing from the Steam purchase. I got no extra points and absolutely no cosmetics from it. The purchase was made on 17th of january. I sent an e-mail to GGG support at support@grindinggear.com also on 17th January, but it's been 7 days and I got no answer whatsoever. In a desperate attempt to try and fix it, I saw a Steam Key I could claim on my account here, and claimed it just now on my own Steam Account (same account that already had the game, since I bought it on Steam and needed no key to access the Early Access). That key was redeemed succesfully, with no change (since I already had the game), but nothing changed. I only have one GGG account, and only one Steam account. They are both linked correctly, as I double checked. I would like to receive the goods I paid for. This is not the first time this problem has happened. There are others on the Steam forum and on Steam reviews with similar complaints. GGG should really check this as a priority, as it pertains to commercial failed but fully paid commercial transactions. Any help is appreciated, from GGG or the community. Thank you! Have you linked your Steam account to your GGG account?
If so, it means you have two sub-accounts under one POE2 account. When you purchase a Supporter Pack from the Steam store, it might be sent to your GGG account instead of your Steam account. Many people on the forums and Reddit have encountered similar issues. Unfortunately, these problems haven’t received much attention or priority from GGG. I recommend requesting a refund through Steam; their customer support is much faster than here. |
