Copper Citadel Boss NPC issue

Not sure if the NPC was locked out of the arena or just kept attacking the boss when the sandstorm formed, either way died due to not forming the shield until after I had died.
After thinking back on it, NPC was definitely in the arena, but it had the teleport and molten shell ability so one of these stopped it from forming the shield until way after I was dead.
