Merc - General Question - Experts help please

Hello, I'm a lightning merc and I have few questions that I need your help with please.

1. Can I change from witch hunter to gemling? is there anyway?

2. I follow the galvanic shard build in which I use storm caller arroq, light rod and spam GS for spirit thunder to strike as a proc. It seems my proc is not the as same as what I see for some players in youtube vids, what is your advice... what am i missing?

3. I tend to have a hard time taking damage. I invested in armor first, then I changed to armor and evasion... I cant invest on raising all resist types as this will take from my damage and armor as well....what should i do? should i change to evasion and energy shield? bah i need to invest in INT!

4. I saw a player dressing same as witch hunter in the photo, i thought we get that in higher levels.... how to get one? it looks nice

5. what is the main attributes I should focus on?

6. I invested in my passive tree to cover damage, shock, elemental damage, armor and evasion, fast swap... I dont know where to go from there...

7. I carry bow in offhand....are there any better builds/weapons?

8. what is the best spirit combo?

Hey mate,

most of your questions can not be answered brifly. thats why no one wants to answer at all.

first of all, you should check build guides and have your own opinion about where you are. iam not expert or something please dont get me wrong. i begin poe with 2 ea. all i can say is, iam playing gemling galvanic and even if we chat face to face, and discuss all the issus might get hours to talk.

first thing, i advice you to watch difrent build guides on youtube. they will teach you alot.
