Do I need that 5 intellect node? Attribute requirements ui nightmare

Repathing my passive tree but there is a 5 intelligence node I'm not sure I need.
How to check? Bring up the support gem menu that says (4/5) etc. Right click a support gem: nope, right click a skill gem: nope, open skills menu there it is. (5/6) looks like I don't need that. Redo the passive tree. Go back through portal SSF HC. None of my skills work and there is a pack of leapers chasing me half way across the map until I can teleport to town. Ok so all my skill gems require more dexterity despite the support menu saying 6/12 Redo the passive tree. Why do I have so much spirit? Ah my spirit skill requires an extra 4 intellect to work Redo the passive tree. Ah it turns out my chest had int on it but when I redid the tree I didnt include enough strength to equip it. Redo the passive tree. When I inspect an attribute passive tree node it should list the attribute requirements for gear and gems. It's an absolute clusterfuck atm. yup, attribute requirement should be available to see in passive tree UI in a collapsible window, with a nice breakdown:
totals: str: x, dex: y, int: z -equipment str: x, dex: y, int: z -skills str: x, dex: y, int: z -supports str: x, dex: y, int: z any stats below should be highlighted and on hover show which ones are not being met. if this happens to equipment other section should be greyed out to make sure the player fixes that first to avoid cascading issues Last edited by AintCare#6513 on Jan 22, 2025, 9:08:13 PM

I don't see an issue.
You press G and it shows your current gems and the available attributes on top. Like it might say something like Dex 5/15 which means you have 5 green gems and have 75 dex currently (5 dex required per green). If you press P and you don't have enough attributes to equip the gear which you are presently wearing, it will tell you exactly how much you need. But as far as the support gems, it says it right there on the top when you hit G. |
