Apex of Filth is way too MASSIVE and sucks
The location feels unnecessary big and takes way too long, we don't have enough movement speed and movement skills to go through it without bothering too much, instead we have to check every corner of this giant location to find every mushroom and then the cattle to cook em and then the waifu boss. I personally don't see the reason to have the location that big, please stop torturing me in act 3. I understand the layout reflects the location we're going to have in future, but in that future location all we're looking for is sacrificial place (which is pretty easy to find) and the entrance to next location.

maybe this is a good point. But it is a drop in the bucket after you complete the campaign, and you will never think about it or care about it again.

If you've done the campaign before or are on cruel: skip the mushrooms. The reward is just 2 flasks. Also, follow the wall on your character's right and you'll take the shortest(mostly) path straight to the boss. Then leave.

I absolutely Agree. Itsd to big but thats the case for many other campaign Maps. Like Jungle Ruins or Venom Crypts. Jungle ruins can sometiems take you 30-40 min to get through. One time i had to discover the whole area to find the next area. Cause it was at the completely other end of the map. It was formed like a U so i had to run through the whole map.

Apex is ridiculously large, and hilariously so when you realize that entire area is supposedly on top of a ziggurat. I can't wait for Act 6 to have a drum tower with the entirety of Rome on top of it. LOL :)

" Venom crypt is probably the worst. Jungle ruins isn't great, but the fact Infected Barrens' waypoint is off by the canal entrance makes it that much worse. Act 1 hunting grounds is pretty crap. Also doesn't really fit. Act 2 the various identity-lacking desert/dark desert/underground desert zones aren't great. |

The size of maps is the least problem the game has.
