Some clarity would be really nice regarding plans for PoE1

It doesn't matter if it's good or bad for PoE1 - us players would really like to get at least some information, what are the plans for the future? At the moment we are on a cliffhanger in a mist at night.

I myself want to play some PoE1, but at the moment I don't know what is in the future? Is 3.26 going to last for another 6months, so I can calmly play it without the fear of it ending in 2weeks? Or will we have some additional events for it? Or a new league? This unkown situation isn't pleasant, since I don't know if I should invest my time into 3.26, or just wait. The last thing I want is to invest 2-3weeks and get the anouncment of a new event in "2 weeks".

Small anouncment of a timeline and that's it. You don't even need to do big explanations. We all understand that PoE2 is a big project (and very sucessful one, I liked PoE2). Just give us clarity (preferebly 21lvl/23q)

u are very much correct and i fully agree with ur anger and disappointment they definitely don't have two teams and they definitely don't care about poe 1 any more just a few things u need to take on board looking to the future

I imagine this is simple respect for their players. I am ok if they say 3.26 will last for another 6months. But at least communicate it, so I can plan my games accordingly. Knowing I have several more months of Settlers, I might as well try some hard projects, like SSFHC or even R.

The biggest bummer would be - you invest time for a week or two, and you just get announcment about new event this friday "Necro settlers sentinel crucible legacy harvest endless delve". And then you wonder, why did I even play.

I just think it's rude and very unprofessional that they dont post anything.

Heck, it took 6 weeks to get a post explaining their lack of customer support.

That's just horrible communication.

GGG said that the announcement would be at the end of January, and the league itself in mid-late February, and now who still believes in this? I seriously doubt that they will keep their words, and we already had precedents.

First, GGG gradually abandoned PoE1 for two years, and now we have been waiting for next league for 7 months and most likely it will not come out before 8 months of waiting or even more, and there is absolutely no information (since GGG does not want to drive themselves into a framework).

Personally, I regard this as an absolute disrespect for the players, especially those who consistently support them financially.

Here is what will happen:

1. GGG will rush DRUID, ACT 4 with (maybe) some new skill gems.

This will come with economy reset (new league), that will keep player entertained for 2 months.

The goal to this release is to make people PLAY DRUID, and buy DRUID micros, so the CHINESE COMPANY makes more money. (More money is always good)

Obviously you cannot have POE 1 league stealing your DRUID players, so you cannot get the micro sells.


I expect this to happen somewhere around FEB.

2. After this, the dev team will use this 2 month distraction, to switch back to POE 1, and prepare release.

And then POE 2 will drawn in the same oblivion sea, that POE 1 resides now...

At least 3 months until next POE 1 league.
Like it or not, it is what is going to happen.
