Disappearing items...

Recently the vast majority of dropped items simply vanish after a few seconds. I noticed it happened once a little while back, but now I have an nearly empty inventory after fighting a boss (and the journey towards it; killing mobs)... any known fixes? Is it possibly caused by having a skill on top of the "interact" button? I will try unassigning a skill on top of it if I notice it happen again.
