BONE SHATTER NOT WORKING WITH 2 HANDED MACE

Bone Shatter says it works with 1 handed or 2 handed maces. However, when I use Bone Shatter with a 2 handed weapon equipped it switches my weapon set to single handed. Why is this... it just recently started doing this?
