Im starting to realize that no matter how good the map is ... no drops are good outside ubers

whooptydoo! I got an actual 1 div drop. Wow..well, that felt good for a whole .5 seconds. Maps themselves are completely pointless. Because uniques are pointless. There needs to be decent globally useful uniques that drop, equivalent to things like Shako, Skullders, and War Travs. That everyone wants, and that drop fairly often. This makes looking for items less of a chore. Then these items need to be craftable to be more unique for specific builds, and bricking them should be more common than not, as you will be finding them a few times a play session. Without this, dropping items is just a slog. Horribly boring. We need a few 777's to pop up with clarity, and consistently. I don't think 3 exalts dropping in a map means anything. It needs to be items that have a chance to be something great - and isn't super niche. For instance, I just learned how valuable a ghostwrithe can be if you add sockets to it, increase its quality, and then vaal it for a perfect hit... But ghostwrithe, even as crappy as it is, is still rare due to the completely crazy amount of utterly useless uniques out there. Please create several globally good uniques (+MF +ES +ALL SKILL), and implement a decent crafting mechanism around them. Make them drop more often. Last bumped on Jan 22, 2025, 9:20:15 AM

" this sounds like d3, which is scary to me. i have found uniques that i'm designing characters in ssf already (3 alt chars). having lots of fun. they need to tone down drops way down because i'm not even playing all that much so having this many already is unusual |
