Couch Coop Unplayable (POE2 PS5)

I have been playing POE2 on PS5 in Couch coop since launch with few problems but now there has been some sort of bug that has made playing and progressing impossible. At first it was localized in the Trials of Chaos, I was unable to begin the trials as it kept stating that Ineeded to be the Map owner, which I was. I attempted to create new instances, restart the application and restart the console itself and instead of solving the problem it seemed to make it worse. My partner and I have 3 characters each and 4 of them have had the same issue of loading into the Ziggurat Encampment of Act 3 in what appears to be the far right corner of the map completely out of frame of everything else. We are unable to move our characters or open any menus with the exception of the main menu to return to the Character selection screen. The characters in question are at around the same place in the story, one pair needs to kill doryani and rescue Alva, the other pair needs to Kill the viper immediately following Alva's abduction but cannot progress any further. For the time being we've started the journey over again with another pair of characters but would like the ability to complete the journey with the other characters we began as well.
