is getting stuck on every single rock really necessary?

It is really tilting no matter what class I play. Died in rituals in the past becauise of a single urn or rock getting me stuck and I get swarmed instantly because of it. Willow is probably the worst map ever to navigate through.

I'd really like to know: is it really necessary to have this?

I play HC and tend avoid rituals with obstacles for this reason.

Overall, Iam really liking the game, but the stark difference in game speed between campaign and end game confuses me. I don't remember them addressing if this was intended during the interview with Ghazzy and DM.

The dodge roll in the campaign is rather impactful because the combat is slower and more tactical. In the end game, you get swarmed and have a build that clears the whole screen.
Completely agree. It almost feels like the person that designed these systems has never played an ARPG before. Some of these mechanics they added are just annoying and make the game feel clunky.
Every map *Feels* like it was designed with an artwork first, Gameplay/systems 4th approach.
Majority of walls are jagged squiggly lines. This game is isometric. What is the point of making just walking through a hallway feel this bad. It doesnt add to the challenge or tactical play. It just adds thousands of jagged textures for animations and movements to get stuck and bug out on.

If the gameplay was 3d rather than isometric i think i would understand this design, but we're moving on 2 planes.

Exactly that. Like the new towers maps, some of them feel too small relative to the width of the character.

Pretty much that's my entire POV that any map with channels in it is too small relative to the character and monster size.

They look great but the obstacles are very annoying in the endgame.

Like the doors in doriyani lair / vaal citadel, like that are impossibly small. Like do the vaal crawl thru doors?

Like if I could, I'd shrink players and monster models by like 10% so it just has a more zoomed out look and more maneuver room.
As someone who plays tempest flurry, I feel this in my bone. I had to get enough spirit to add blink to just go through these obstacles. Willow though... what a horrible map.

Hey, almost all maps have horrible layouts!
I'm struggling to come up with new goals to keep me playing this game.
ya its kind of ridiculous. but even worse is just getting pushed by everything under the sun like you were 5 ounces

you can't walk through a pot, and you get pushed around like you're nothing

Playing tempest flurry attribute stacking has been so unbelievably tilting with all the shit that gets in the way……….

Willow map is absolute f tier with this build
True. Most of my deaths is stacking in a small tiny rock or 2-3 mobs.
Fix it, its annoying.
I LOVE Crypt maps , gettin stuck by these 4281 urns in every corridors is awesome <3 <3

Said no one ever .
