actually how many maps is in endgame is it infinite

Without any knowledge, just pure assumption, I would guess maybe int64 or uint64 so maybe 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 or 18,446,744,073,709,551,615. Or if they want so save some storage space, maybe int32/uint32 2,147,483,647/4,294,967,295.
I don't think they would use uint16 65,535 again after Slippery Jim reach max delve depths. |

As far as I know they are planning to have the atlas "regenerate" in the future, so my guess is that places you have done will be replaced with new maps.
Infinite is a problem for computers, they are most likely limited by some hashing algorithm/other algorithms they use to generate the randomness of the atlas but its probably big enough that we wont run out of maps to do before they add in some new features for the atlas. |
