Characters not showing after linking account Poe2

I linked my steam account so that I could trade on Poe 2 but my characters don't show up so it says I am offline when I try to message anyone on the site

Please ensure you're logged into the website using the same sub-account as the one you use to play. You can check which sub-account you're logged into on the website by looking at the top left of the page. I hope this helps!
