Early access REVOKED after 473 hours INGAME

As title says. How funny is that.

Bought the game over a month ago, been playing since then.

Sure, i bought the game from a 3rd party, i got scammed, there was no 300 free points.(not exactly scammed, i just thought at the time that all keys give 300points)

So what i do?

I even paid POE2 way more that what the early access pack costs, for points and ingame benefits.

They took my money and didn't say the serial key you used was bad, for over a month.
I played for almost 500hours. I bought points 3 times and almost gave them another 20euro today for a few more.

Now they revoked access.
Your account no longer has access to path of exile 2 early access they say.
But they did keep my nice shiney money.

What kind of joke is this?

lol/

sounds like this could have all been avoided by not buying from a random 3rd party site
@ColdDrizzle
if you were going to drop 20€ why not drop it to get EA from website? you get points when you do that loosing absolutely nothing.
The original key was probably bought using a stolen credit card to start with, which is often the case with key resellers.
Yeah upgraded into a pack (it already counted in the points i bought earlier)
Got the EA it's just sad that they just revoked anyway.

So they got my shiney money again.

I mean sure i only gave them like 60euro. Imagine you gave them 200euro and they still revoked you, asking you to buy another key. Been playing for almost 500hours ffs.

And yeah 3rd party sites suck, but...
It's probably not stolen cards or the likes. People getting revoked from all 3rd party sites, all over the internet.
From respectable sites. Not 1 or 2.

My guess is GGG is doing internal checks and throwing revoking hammers.
So you buy it from them.

They act like goblins. No offence.
they prob revoke your access because the 3rd party goblin you bought the game from refunded the purchase to the original payment method- basically scamming you, it wasn't GGG
Why is this in EA feedback? Don't buy from unverified third parties.

There are some 3rd parties that are very respectable.
I have personaly bought a LOT of steam games from a respectable site over the years and i never, not even once had a key revoked.

With poe2, i see keys revoked from different sites. Respectable ones too.
Its very fishy and thus makes me sceptical. No respectable site would want bad reviews.

Also the fact that this happened so much with poe2 and for many different sites makes the most likely offender GGG.

Also i received a support reply from GGG,
the reply was in lines of "we don't care if you paid us money for points, you bought the game from 3rd party, can't help you".
Which is a bit sad tbh. I did buy the game from a 3rd party site, i buy almost all my games from there.
I did support GGG more than enough though. They just spit a bit on my face after :P

anyway enough ranting. gave them some more money and have access again.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that. If you received/purchased access via a third party, then the I'm afraid that the key's status may have been revoked. We can't speculate on the reasons for this and you will need to discuss this with the person that you received/purchased the key from. Please keep in mind that the 300 points are part of our Path of Exile 2 Early Access Supporter Packs. As such, we recommend making Path of Exile purchases via our website as we will be able to assist with any issues that may arise.

Lots of nonsense being spoken here about 3rd party key sellers I'm afraid.

The reason resellers are cheaper is because they use regional pricing differences to bulk purchase and sell keys at a discount. Yes things go wrong sometimes like in any marketplace but those cases are extremely rare these days and statistically there is no way that all of these cases being flagged up are due to charge backs or stolen credit cards etc. That would be unprecendented and I've never seen issues this widespread with 3rd party resellers around any game launch ever. The keys were clearly considered valid at some point and it's not credible to suggest that all of these keys were not legitimate in some way. There is plenty of "secret shopper" investigative work being done on this that has found that keys sold by well known respected sellers are being withdrawn by the developer for unexplained reasons. This is highly suspicious.

I'd urge anybody who has this issue to seek a refund from the third party key seller (most are issuing them and are offering far better support than the path of exile developer) and DO NOT rebuy the game from any source, wait until it is free.

This is a nonsense comment. You don't need to "speculate" on the reasons keys have been revoked. You must know the reasons since it is you who is revoking the keys! The least you can do is let each user know why their particular key was revoked. Not doing so just adds to the growing suspicion that they are being revoked without good reason either deliberately or in error.
