New to game and trial of Sekhames

Morning ,

so i didnt know what i was doing when i was on act 2 and went and tried to the Trail of Sekhames , I failed and died , now i have found out today watching vids on my way to work this is where i can get my first ascendence ? is this correct ?

now i am wondering since i failed and cant do my ascendence how do i retry it ?

During the campaign the first token is not used up. You should still see it in the device when you open it again.

Provided you used the quest item, the green one.

Edit 2:
Sorry bad wording on my part. The quest item is not used up on a fail. If you succeed it will be gone.

I 100% failed it lol when i tried it my build was horrible.

yeah the first one you can't lose but they get used up after that. Going forward you might want to hold onto the token things you get until you level up some so as not to lose the token as new ones that drop will be at the area monster level. But once you pass it running older ones that wouldn't count for the next ascendancy would still be a good idea as you need the relics for honor resist and other buffs.
