I am not getting the Ascendancy points for 3rd trial...

Hey guys,
Anyone able to help me here. I am using 60+ Djinn Barya. I am level 75. And yes "Completing this ascension trial will grant additional ascendancy skill points" is on the item.
I am doing Act2 trial of the first run through because Act2 trial of the second run through is bugged and I am stuck on Ascent To Power - Search Traitor's Passage. I have completed that zone about 6 times and it will not update.
My understanding is that I can do that trial in the first run through.
I have competed the trial twice, and yes all 3 trial parts. I get to the chests at the end. Says I completed all 3 trials and I get no Ascendancy Points.
I am not the only one stuck on this. My friends are all having the same problem.
Can anyone help me on this?

Weird. If it says you get points then it should work.

Try chaos trials instead? Message me in game and I'll run it with you. StrykerxS77x on Xbox.
