Vaal Foundry Map Boss Pathing Issue

Sorry for not having a recording, but I just encountered an issue on Vaal Foundry that resulted in the map being incompletable for me.

If essence monsters spawn in the spillway below the gold sluicegate, the boss's pathing will bug out and it will get stuck if you don't break free the essence monsters before the molten gold reaches them.

I failed the map bc I didn't pop the essence monsters and the boss just spazzed out; I died trying to run into the molten gold to free them.
